Became . . . Vella ! In addition to all the other advantages, I now find that I am indestructible ! Janno had landed his own craft, and was among the first to arrive on the scene of the crash. I killed him—my own comrade —with my idiotic carelessness ! I’ll never forgive myself—never ! Then . . . Vella ! But—you’re alive ? As you see, Janno. But how could he have got out ?
